Post #3 The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution

The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution are housed in the National Archives in Washington D.C. The Declaration of Independence is important because it states that a government exists for the benefit of the people and that " All men are created equal" The Constitution is important because it was the document that founded our government. It was the basis of what would form the United States. I found the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution while exploring Washington D.C. virtually. They are kept in a glass container in the National Archives and are protected by security guards and alarms.
